TaylorMade Golf has unveiled the first unofficial images of the new TaylorMade 2009 Burner plus Driver designs ahead of the clubs official debut in Japan. In Japanese, the term “PLUS” must mean “Same thing but slightly different”.TaylorMade will make a Big Splash here in the US for 2009. But for now take a look at what they are releasing in Japan for Fall 2008.

 

The TaylorMade 2009 Burner Plus Driver is the highest MOI and most forgiving Burner driver ever made. Featuring a new Bulge and Roll design to increase Moment of Inertia and decrease sidespin, the Burner Plus Driver is made to go straight and long. Featuring UTW - Ultra Thin Wall technology, the lightweight 0.6mm crown decreases weight and helps to create a lower center of gravity.

    I must admit I really liked the look of this TaylorMade 2009 Burner Plus Driver when I first saw it. Although that is not a great reason to buy a club. The ball flight is awesome and it is definitely straighter.
