The TaylorMade Burner 2008 fairway woods feature the largest size and footprint of any TaylorMade steel-headed fairway wood to date for maximum forgiveness. A Dual Crown construction that allows weight to be redistributed, providing the TaylorMade Tour Burner Fairway Wood a 35-percent lower center of gravity than the previous Burner models for optimal launch conditions.

    I bought the Tour Burner Fairway Wood and hit it so well. The 3 wood goes almost as far as the driver hit it out of the fairway like a rocket

    Once again, a great fairway wood for the weekend golfe. It has good performance and a large sweet spot but the trade off is a large club head. Not a club to hit out of difficult lies or thick rough. A good club to replace your driver on holes that you need to hit the fairway.

    It took a few rounds of adjustment initially. After I figured out this TaylorMade Tour Burner Fairway Wood, it has been dependable. The feel is solid yet soft. The sole glides thru the rough. Distance is very good matched with the correct shaft.
