Ping i15 Driver 

 

The Newest Ping series- Ping i15 driver  is fade-biased (designed with an open face angle) with a traditional pear-shaped clubhead. Internal weighting properties are designed to reduce spin, and the hosel is slightly set back from the clubhead to promote better control and tour-preferred trajectories. The i15 driver is also  regarded as the "Black Beauty" because of its dark, titanium carbon finish.

The traditional pear-shaped 460cc titanium head is engineered with a bulge crown design and deeper face to optimize energy transfer for greater ball speed and the solid feel preferred by better golfers. By utilising a slightly longer hosel, this driver design can be bent ±1.5° to further customise the driver for improved performance. All adjustments must be made through PING's WRX department.

 

The design utilised has a tighter bulge and roll allowing more weight to be removed from the face which is relocated to optimise the centre of gravity for better launch as well as increased ball speed.
